With its Architectural Engineering focus—mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting design and control systems, Blanchard AE Group has specialized in the Commercial and Industrial sectors providing services for both Traditional and Design Build delivery methods.
BAE Group has licensed engineers in 43 states and the District of Columbia including experience in both Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Our Story
Every business has a beginning and after almost 20 years of ownership and serving as Vice President & Treasurer for a local mid-sized MEP firm, Laura Blanchard, PE. founded Blanchard AE Group to better serve her clientele and to create an atmosphere of creative design and teamwork within her organization.
Our Engineering Philosophy
Blanchard AE Group has established a reputation for designing mechanical and electrical systems to the appropriate level of sophistication, utilizing the latest technology, while maintaining a level of simplicity required for ease of operation and maintenance. We believe that systems which are easier to maintain will be better maintained.
The firm strives to completely coordinate the mechanical and electrical designs with all other members of the design team in an effort to complement the building aesthetically while maintaining sound design methods. We believe the detail to which our plans and specifications are prepared enhances the quality of bids by leaving little to the contractor's imagination.

Laura started Blanchard AE Group in 2017 after being with another midsize Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Consulting firm for almost 20 years, eight of those years as a Principal in charge and Owner.
